AWP SENIORS

About

I’m a mama to three boys (2 in college and one about to be a senior) who are growing up way too fast — and if you know, you know. One minute they’re little, the next they’re eating everything in sight and suddenly taller than me. This is exactly why photography means so much to me. Photography hits my heart in a way that’s hard to put into words. It brings tears to my eyes, fills my soul, and lets me hold onto moments I’d otherwise lose to time.

When my boys were little, just thinking about them growing up made my mama heart ache. I wanted to freeze time… or at least slow it down a bit. So I picked up a camera and started telling our story. Capturing the tiny details, the in-between moments, and the seasons that didn’t feel big at the time — but now mean everything. Now here we are. I get to do this not only for my own family, but for other mamas, families, and seniors stepping into new chapters of life. I believe every mama deserves beautiful photos of her babies, no matter how old they are, because truly, the days are long but the years are incredibly short. This work isn’t just something I do — it’s something I feel deeply called to do. God placed this on my heart, and I’m honored every time someone trusts me with their memories.

April’s fave things: Jesus, coffee, sunflowers, sunsets, cherry sours, golden doodles, walks, and gilmore girls.

If you’re looking for a photographer who feels like a friend, understands how fast time flies, and will hype you up while capturing real, meaningful moments, I’d love to photograph your story.
